Jill Brody

I was born and raised in New York, attended Antioch College, and have degrees from the University of Illinois, Adelphi University, Harvard Divinity School, and the Art Institute of Boston.  Over the past twenty-five years most of what has interested me has been in the American West, primarily Montana, although you will see here portfolios from my home in Rhode Island, as well as from my travels around the world.  My work has been shown around the country, I have one book, “Drummond: Ranch Life in the West,” which came out in 2004, and I am currently completing two other community-based photo essays, “Living In The Wind,” and “Hidden In Plain Sight.”  MY HUSBAND AND INVETERATE SIDEKICK, Herb Emers, and I make our home in Providence, Rhode Island.
